This is an unsigned single-file app, offered in two packages: Portable (no install — unzip and run) and Installer (adds a Start Menu entry, uninstallable from Settings). Both behave the same at runtime.
On download: your browser / Windows Defender may occasionally flag it as "Virus detected" — this is just caution about software it hasn't seen before, not a real issue. The file is safe; click "…" → "Keep" → "Keep anyway", or verify the SHA256 above.
Windows: double-click to run. SmartScreen may appear on first launch; click "More info → Run anyway".
macOS: run chmod +x <filename> in Terminal, then launch. If blocked, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway".
Linux: run chmod +x <filename> in Terminal, then launch.
